Blue Ridge Mountain Team

We have a short term vacation rental home in Blue Ridge.  When I first interviewed MountainTeam in March, 2020, the owner told me the standards she set for the cleaning team:  she said all were bonded and insured; after each team cleaned a short term rental, a second team followed up to make sure everything had been done to the highest standards; they would supply all cleaning supplies and paper products; owner supplied linens and towels were laundered offsite and the same owner linens were returned to the rental home for use; floors were mopped, furniture dusted, beds changed, etc.   In November, 2020, I terminated my business relationship with MountainTeam due to several guest complaints and low ratings about poor cleaning standards (I’ve always had 5 star ratings until dealing with this group) :  thick dust on baseboards, fans, window sills; floors with toenail clippings on them; grimy kitchen floors; towels and sheets left wet in the washing machine; no initial supply of dishsoap, paper towels, etc.  Guests sent photo evidence of these things and I reported to the owner who assured me it would never happen again.  But it did.  So in a nutshell, this company promises a lot and delivers an inferior service.  Don’t hire them.
